Denis Daronnat

Partner

Denis is a Partner at Caravelle Investment group, focusing on multi-sectorial private equity investments based in US, Europe and Africa. He also manages a family office of Caravelle group based in Geneva, Switzerland.

Prior to its current asset management activities, Denis started his career at BNP Paribas bank in wealth management, first as wealth manager and then in charge of the inspection of global private banking activities, leading assignments in Miami, Athens and Dubai. He then moved to BNP Paribas group level inspection, conducting missions worldwide in asset management, investment banking, private banking and retail banking activities. Following his monitoring work of billion dollars assets in the investment banking-commodity finance division, he has become a world class expert in risk management and operational transversal issues, supervising investment projects at group level and training the bankers globally.

Following his professional move towards Venture Capital/Private Equity, Denis co-founded an e-commerce platform connecting Italian fashion designers and high-quality factories with Asian consumers directly through a M2C model. More recently, he took part to the acquisition and development of a semi-conductor startup company from design stage to production stage of IoT and SuperWIFI components in the emerging markets.

Denis has a master degree in Economy from the European Business Management School of Strasbourg and an Economic License in International Affairs in Austria. He speaks French, English, German and Russian fluently.
