Ms. Maggie Gu is the managing partner of Caravelle Investment, an investment group primarily active in venture capital.

Ms. Maggie Gu comes from a prominent family of entrepreneurs and doctors. She has more than 18 years of working experience in global management and is a technology and angel investor who has invested in notable companies such as SpaceX and Airbnb. Before focusing on international investment, she first embraced a diplomatic career at the United Nations and then moved to the private sector to solve international disputes and coordinate global projects in Europe and Africa for more than a decade. She focuses on impact investments for her vision of the future, while she also founded a reputable Swiss NGO foundation aiming at changing living conditions of human beings in Africa through technology applications and skills development.

Ms. Maggie Gu holds a professional medical degree, a Master of Communication and Public Relations from Peking University in China, a M.B.A. of Global Management from the Thunderbird School in US, and a Master of International Relations and Economy from IHEID in Switzerland.
